Rental Cottages

As a vacation destination, Oak Island has a large supply of rental cottages available.  My husband and I have a couple of short-term rentals on the island that are very close to the retreat location.  If you are interested in seeing what we have available you kind find those at www.stonetableproperties.com

If you would like to search for other options on one of the booking platforms, you can search for properties on Oak Island NC.  However, it is a big island.  Our retreat will be held on the East end of the island, also known as Yaupon Beach (see map below).  So, I suggest that you center your search in that area.

Hotels

There are no chain hotels on Oak Island, but across the bridge in Southport we have a Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express and a Hampton Inn and Suites.
There are several small local motels on the island.  The Beach House and  Oak Island Inn are closest to the retreat venue.

Travel Tips

If you are flying in for the retreat, the closest airport is in Wilmington NC (ILM) at about 1 hour away.  Myrtle Beach International Airport is about 1.5 hours away.
For transport between the Airport and Oak Island, everyone always recommends Jimmy Tha Wheel-910-616-2420. Other options are Billy's Ride Sharing- 631-276-3876 and Robert's Driving Service-402-871-3954.
